The move follows a nine-month development plan between both parties to implement the bespoke âRace For Growthâ initiative, created to drive forward positive change to Pentagonâs aftersales activity.
Ranked 16th in the 2009 AM100, with a turnover in excess of ÂŁ350 million, Pentagon will now put all fifteen of its dealerships through the programme â which focuses on developing a âsell and serveâ culture throughout an organisation, to drive up sales and improve customer satisfaction.
Trevor Reeve, managing director of Pentagon, which has its headquarters in Derby, said: âAfter a year of consolidation, weâve now made our biggest ever single investment in aftersales by commissioning the Race for Growth programme.
âWe firmly believe this investment will deliver significant benefits to our business performance.â
Pentagonâs human resources director, Graham Hall said: Â âManufacturers do a great job with technical and process training, but there is often a gap when it comes to providing the softer sales skills for service advisers.
