After five years of working with Coachworks Consulting via Vauxhall Motors national initiatives, Directors of Tustain Motors Ltd have engaged Coachworks to deliver their best-selling business improvement programme across the group’s own Service Departments. MD and Co-Chair of the Vauxhall Franchise Board Brian Baxter was already an advocate of Coachworks, but after consulting industry peers and hearing about the “great results” from Race for Growth, choosing Coachworks was an “easy decision” he says. Retailing from four Vauxhall sites in Haddington, Alnwick, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Ashington, the Tustain team have recognised that the cost of proceeding was easily justified when considering the opportunity for growth.
Originally designed to create a culture of selling as well as serving, R4G has proven to also dramatically improve the way that customers are handled in the Service Department, and as a result drives up CSI scores.
